It shows up in device manager, it seems to be sending midi messages to windows but Cakewalk does not seem to respond to them. Dear Jane, I did exactly what you did, read the article on compatibility, 1 I went to file and right clicked it. Keep us posted if you face any issues on windows in future. There is some info here about running programs in compatibility mode that might help http: Log in or Sign up. Some devices seemingly need to be worked around. I would suggest you usb2middi run Hardware and devices troubleshooter and see if that helps! Also all the grayed out ports that I’d previously uninstalled were back.
